Greetings. Maybe because it's a new year, I received a few emails from people asking me to discuss how to move on in 2026 and let 2025 go. We all suffer when things from our past come to haunt us. Everyone has a past. Some experiences were great, and others, well, maybe not so much. LEarning from our past experiences is paramount for our growth as individuals. However, living in or through our past can affect many things in our present and future. It is always best practice to learn from our past, but to leave it there. You can't take it back, relive it, or change it. Therefore, why let it rule your present and your future? This week, I will discuss "Mastering Letting Go."

Admittedly, some things are easier said than done, but once we learn how to approach them, we can succeed. Frankly, I don't care what happened, and it makes the other person feel as if your actions will be judged based on their previous experience with someone else. Now, rather than having a great time, you are on guard all evening.
As you get to know one another, it is natural that you both will discuss your past relationships. However, it is not normal to constantly bring them up. It could make some think that they are not over that relationship, and after a while, it just becomes annoying.
